Event l?uft in vollen Z?gen
Hello Pilots!
Two months after the last feel the rush event at Seoul, we're proud to present our next Real Operations Event. This time we will simulate for eight hours the real traffic situation at Tel Aviv?s Ben Gurion International Airport. The Event will take place on 12th June, from 14 - 22 UTC. You can book your favorite flights from and to Tel Aviv. Our booking system will send you thereafter an email with the real route and equipment for your flight. Of course you can book more than one flight! During the whole event period we'll provide full ATC coverage at Tel Aviv.
We wish you a lot of fun in Israel!
kind regards
Samy Jay Greve and Florian Pilger

Following the recent success of our annual Heathrow RFE, we are delighted to announce the next huge event in the IVAO calender.
Between 1600z & 2000z (5pm - 9pm BST) We will be teaming up with IVAO Germany to hold a mega air-bridge between Heathrow & Frankfurt - this time with a twist! At each end, the UK/DE staff teams will be the only controllers! This means all members can fly in between the 2 airports and try to overload the staff team!

Briefing
When flying at such a busy event, it is essential that you take the following into account:
- Maintain RT discipline - The frequencies will be very busy. When joining a frequency, wait 10 to 15 seconds before transmitting.
- It is vital that you adhear to any speed restrictions that have been given - They have been given to you for a reason.
- Do not descend just because your FMC tells you to do so. Ask for permission first.
- When instructed to change frequency, listen very carefully to the frequency you have been told to contact - Don't just assume and contact who you think you should be contacting - we will have over 15 frequencies active at certain times at both ends! Departing aircraft from Heathrow DO NOT contact the Approach Controller when airborne (except in certain, rare circumstances). They go straight to the appropriate Area (CTR) sector first.
- Please listen to the frequency you were told to contact.
- Upon landing, vacate the runway as quickly as you possibly can. Make use of rapid exit taxiways where available. Final approach spacing can be as little as 2.5nm at Heathrow and Frankfurt so it is vital you vacate as quick as you possibly can.
Heathrow
- You should expect the LAM3A arrival after LAM, but you could be assigned a "stack swap" STAR such as the BIG1E should the LAM stack become full.
- You may be required to hold at LAM (or BRASO/LOGAN) and should be familiar with doing so according to the above charts. It is essential that if you don't recieve a further clearance beyond LAM, you enter the hold at your assigned level.
- Departures will usually be on the DVR SID. You must follow the step-climb shown in the chart and not climb above 6000ft until cleared by ATC. You may recieve a step-climb and or headings whilst departing. Fly what you have been assigned promptly and without question - the controllers can see the overall picture and will get you to your cruise altitude as quickly as they are able, but this may be delayed during very busy flows.
Frankfurt
- You should expect to fly a tranistion on arrival at Frankfurt according to the charts. If you're unable, please ask the ATC.
- Follow ATC directions closely, and ensure you check any FMC procedure against the chart.
We hope to see lots of you flying for this exciting event!
